The 14th edition of the Forum économique des îles de l'océan Indien (FEIOI) is jointly organised by l'Agence de Développement et d'Innovation de Mayotte (ADIM) and Cap Business Océan Indien.
These general terms and conditions apply to this event and regulate the relationship between the participant and the organisers. By validating their registration, the participants unreservedly agree to the present terms and conditions.


1. Registration fees

This event is open to all, so there is no registration fee for participants. It includes access to all sessions as defined in the programme, to B2B meetings and The Climate Fresk workshops, opening and closing cocktails, lunches and coffee breaks during the three days. However, airport-hotel transfers will not be provided by the organisers and entail additional costs. All other activities organised by partners will be optional and entail additional costs.


2. Cancellation

a. For the participant
Participants will be able to cancel their registration by sending an email at forum@capbusiness.io and contact-feioi2024@adim-mayotte.fr on 22 October, 2024, at noon (Mayotte time), at the latest, in order to allow the organisers to take all the necessary measures to ensure a good structure.
b. For the organisers
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event in case of force majeure. In this case, an official email will be sent to the participants within a reasonable period.


3. Sanitary protocol

The event will be organised in compliance with the sanitary protocol which will be in force in Mayotte in November 2024. The organisers commit to taking all the measures deemed necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants and all those involved in the organisation of the forum.
For their part, participants commit to respecting all the sanitary instructions given by the organisers and official representatives at the venue. The participants are invited to seek information regarding the sanitary measures in force in Mayotte before their registration.

If a decision of the French government leads to the inability to hold the forum as scheduled (case of force majeure), the organisers reserve the right to organise it online. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience that may be caused but will do everything they can to adjust the sessions and the sponsorship to this virtual version.


4. Travel and accommodation
The participants to the FEIOI bears the travel costs and costs of stay.


5. Visa procedures
The 14th edition of the FEIOI will be held in Mayotte. Citizens of countries subject to visa requirements should ensure the procedures are initiated according to the respective duration in each country before the scheduled departure date with the consular services. The organisers will provide participants with an official letter or email to confirm their registration, if necessary.


6. Protection of personal data
Les données personnelles communiquées lors de votre inscription ne sont accessibles que par les organisateurs, qui s'engagent à les utiliser uniquement pour les besoins de la 14ème édition du Forum économique des îles de l'océan Indien. Les adresses email seront utilisées pour envoyer des courriels, des newsletters et d'autres communications aux participants. Pour les besoins des rencontres B2B, et plus largement de réseautage pendant l'événement et après, certaines données personnelles pourront être partagées à des tiers (sociétés, organisations ou particuliers). Tout participant ne souhaitant pas que ces coordonnées soient partagées est invité à informer les organisateurs par mail : forum@capbusiness.io et contact-feioi2024@adim-mayotte.fr.


7. Image rights
The organisers reserve the right to allow the recording of the conferences (sound & video) and other activities during the forum, as well as their dissemination (media, social media and other media) for communication and visibility purposes. By validating their registration, the participants expressly agree to be interviewed, filmed or photographed in a professional setting. They allow Cap Business Océan Indien and par l'Agence de Développement et d'Innovation de Mayotte (ADIM) to use these materials for promotional purposes.

 

8. Organisers’ liability

If they are compelled to alter the conditions under which the 14th FEIOI is conducted in case of force majeure, the organisers cannot be held responsible for any cancellation fee (trip or accommodation), including taxes related to administrative procedures.

The organisers cannot be held responsible if they are compelled, for reasons beyond their control, to bring changes to such extent that they alter the quality of the sessions (ex. unavailability of some speakers, sanitary restrictions, etc.). In the face of such situations, the organisers reserve the right to postpone the event until further notice.


9. Participants’ liability
The organisers reserve the right to deny access to any participant whose behaviour could disturb the smooth running of the conferences and/or is considered a threat to other participants.
By their registration to the 14th edition of the FEIOI, the participants commit to abiding by the instructions that will be given by the organisers, the unique objective of which is to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
